This is 1R4O.pdb, the glucocorticoid receptor (GR) bound to DNA with a non-natural 4 bp spacing between specific half-sites. The protein-protein interactions are similar to 1R4R.pdb, and they shift one subunit of the dimeric protein away from its specific half-site: the protein-DNA interactions for chain B are much more remote and less specific than for chain A. For example, the conserved Arg 466 makes a nonspecific phosphate contact instead of a classic two H-bond Arg:Guanine interaction. The three central base pairs are still not contacted by the protein.
