L6

Like many other proteins in the large ribosomal subunit, L6 has two domains of similar structure. The C-terminus interacts with the 23S rRNA, while the N-terminus is involved in protein-protein binding events. The structure above has been isolated from the organism Bacillus stearothermophilus, thanks to Golden et al. (1993).
