The median on the exam (3/7/02) was 63, the average was 63.3 and the standard deviation was 18.1. It seemed to me that people who scored over 75 had an excellent understanding of the material, but under 50 indicates significant problems. The dirstribution is quite uneven, with only 5 people scoring within 5 points of the median.
